The launch event for the War Effects on Food Systems and Environment (WEFE) research network took place on October 7, 2024, as part of the ceecon24 DGO Congress of Central and East European Studies. Held at the OEI at FU Berlin, the event took the form of a roundtable discussion, bringing together experts to explore the impacts of war on food security, agriculture, and the environment in Ukraine.
