As part of Globalization Services, the SAP Language Services department organizes the translation of SAP products and producted-related material into over 35 languages. The Marketing Translation Sevice Team manages translation projects of SAP marketing material required all over the world.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Preparation and post-processing of translation projects for a wide range of marketing materiál in a variety of formats
• File checks to support successful review correction implementation
• Internal communication (with project managers worldwide, for example)
• Opportunity to learn about global translation project management and about the technical translation infrastructure, as well as a variety of localization techniques

• Student at a university or university of applied sciences
• Translation (with technical focus), computer sciences, computer linguistics
• Translation tools such as Trados, Smartling; MS Office; XML/HTML
• Layout tools such as Adobe InDesign
• basic programming knowledge is a plus
• Fluent English; German and/or Russian are a plus
• Communication skills, intercultural sensitivity, diligent working style with attention to detail, project management experience is a plus
• Interns will not translate: the focus is on project management and technical tasks
