Lietuviškų filmų festivalio Litauisches Kino Goes Berlin Vasaros seanse - populiariausias visų laikų Lietuvos filmas "Tarp pilkų debesų" (rež. M.Markevičius), sukurtas pagal pasaulinį Rūtos Šepetys bestselerį.
Lietuvės Linos jaunystės svajos sugriūna, kuomet 1941-aisiais ji ištremiama į Sibirą, kur susiduria su nesuvokiamu žiaurumu, alkiu, kenčia nepakeliamas gyvenimo sąlygas, bet kartu patiria ir žmonių gerumą, pirmąją meilę ir viltį išgyventi.
Filmas Lietuvoje pasiekė lankomumo rekordus, tai kartu ir brangiausias lietuviškas filmas. Jame vaidina pasaulinio garso aktoriai Bel Powley, Jonah Hauer-King, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Martin Wallström, Peter Franzén.

In the summer edition of LT Kino Goes Berlin - a film by Marius Markevičius "Ashes in the Snow", which became the most popular Lithuanian film of all times.
The film shows the story of a budding artist and her family in the course of Stalin's occupation of the Baltic and the deportation to Siberia. Based on the bestseller of the writer Ruta Sepetys, whose works have been published in 50 countries.
Bel Powley, Jonah Hauer-King, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Martin Wallström, Peter Franzén are leading actors in the film.
