Since we shot our documentary on the Black Protest in March 2017, the situation in Poland has changed. Back then our protagonist Bożena told us that the proposal on a more restrictive abortion law had only been put on ice. Currently the issues of women's rights and "eugenic abortion" are again being heatedly debated.

Together with Ostblick Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. we invite you to watch our documentary on the first country-wide Black Protest against the further restriction of the Polish abortion law in October 2016. A short speech on the topic will be held by Elżbieta Korolczuk, a sociologist from the University of Warsaw who did research on the Black Protest and the motivations of the participants. Afterwards we invite you to discuss with Elżbieta Korolczuk and with us.

The documentary will be in Polish with English subtitles.
