• Aryna Dzmitryieva

Aryna Dzmitryieva is a PhD candidate at the University of Eastern Finland. She is working on a dissertation devoted to studying Russian legal culture and how it manifests through courts and judiciary. Her research interests include the sociology of the legal profession, judicial reform, and policing in post-socialist countries. She worked as a Research Fellow at the Institute for the Rule of Law at the European University at St. Petersburg. She co-authored monographs Russian Judges: A Sociological Study of the Profession (2016) and Legal Education in Russia: Between University, Profession, State and Market (2021).
