Urban Vehovar, PhD in Sociology, guest scholar. Lecturer at Faculty of Education of University of Primorska, Slovenia. Master degree on social cleavages and formation of political parties in Slovenia, PhD on the role of Slovenian judiciary in the period of triple transition (qualitative survey), both defended at Faculty of Social Sciences of University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Former advisor to Heads of The Office / Commission for the Prevention of Corruption of Republic of Slovenia (2001-02, 2011-13). Led and coordinated some of the first comprehensive surveys on corruption in Slovenia. Expertise on: characteristics of Slovenian society as regards economy, politics, and culture; corruption; competitiveness and quality of governance; state of democracy in Slovenia; varieties of capitalism, Slovenian example. Currently working on an article on characteristics of re-traditionalization / submodernization / reversal of modernisation of Slovenian society. Stay from 26th of September until 6th of January 2017.
