Governance
The Central Institute is headed by a deanery. It consists of:
- The dean who chairs the faculty council and represents the faculty both internally and externally,
- up to two prodecans,
The Dean and his deputies (Prodekane) are elected by the Institute Council. The Dean's Office works according to the collegial principle. Subject to the responsibilities of the service authority and personnel department, it takes care of the current personnel and administrative matters of the department.
The Dean's Office may take the indispensable decisions and measures in place of the Institute Council in matters that cannot be postponed. The authority of the Institute Council to make its own decisions remains unaffected.
