From 14 to 16 November 2025, around 25 OEI students and two OEI lecturers visited Poznań as part of the annual 'Projektseminar' to explore issues related to social mobility and migration. We would like to thank all our friends and partners in Poznań who made this trip possible by meeting our students and presenting their research and experiences, including the Sociology Department at Adam Mickiewicz University (UAM) in Poznań, the Centre for the Integration of Foreigners (CIC) and the student associations at the UAM's Sociology Department and the Eastern Studies Programme. Special thanks go to Przemysław Pluciński at UAM and Agnieszka Szczepanik at CIC for helping us organise the visit! The talks during our visit were held by Agnieszka Szczepanik, Agnieszka Ziółkowska (CIC), on “The Foreigners’ Integration Centre in Poznań”, Marek Nowak (UAM) on the “Integration of Foreigners in Secondary Cities in Central Europe and in Poznań: The Case of War Refugees from Ukraine”,  Jakub Isański (UAM) on “Ukrainian Forced Migrants in Poland: The Case of the Healthcare System”, Piotr Cichocki (UAM) on “Framing Urban Mobility: cross-national differences in academic discourse”. Local historian and guide Michał Hirsch offered us a thematic city tour titled “On the Trails of Historical Migration to Poznań”.
