The DAAD awards short-term scholarships for internships within the framework of study programmes related to foreign countries. The programme aims to provide German students with a specialist internship abroad worldwide. Another DAAD programme includes short-term scholarships for internships found by students themselves in international organisations or for internships in German missions abroad (embassies, consulates). The offer is aimed at German students who have procured an internship in an international organisation or a German mission abroad on their own initiative. The IJP - International Journalist Programmes - awards 2-month scholarships for internships in the journalistic field. For the eleventh time in 2011, the International Journalists Programs will announce their scholarship program for Eastern Europe.
