Stefan Pavleski

Stefan Pavleski graduated at the University of Potsdam, Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences. His research focuses the labour markets and institutions in South East Europe. In his dissertation he analyses the reasons for the persistence of high unemployment rates in the (potential) candidate countries to the EU from the region. In this context he studies the relation between long-term unemployment, skill mismatch and unemployment benefits as well as the macroeconomic situation in these countries.
