Daniil Romanov:
Daniil is a DPhil student in Politics at Oxford University and a Non-Residential Fellow at George Washington University. His research includes post-Soviet politics, media studies and public opinion research. He is collaborating with the SCRIPTS project co-directed by Alexander Libman and Genia Kostka, focusing on formal analysis of Russian offical state rhetoric and communication in Russian social networks.
Anastassia Obydenkova:
Anastassia Obydenkova (PhD, European University Institute in Florence) is a Research Scientist at the Institute for Economic Analysis of the Spanish National Research Council (IAE-CSIC) and an affiliated professor at the Barcelona School of Economics. Previously, she was an Associate Professor at Uppsala University (Sweden). She was awarded research fellowships at Yale, Princeton, and Harvard Universities (among others). Dr. Obydenkova expertise are in comparative politics and international relations with a focus on regional international organizations, global environmental politics and sustainable development, regionalism, historical legacies, and post-Communism. Her research focuses on post-Communist societies, mass and social media, public opinion, values, and propaganda, among other issues. She is collaborating with the SCRIPTS project on ‘Reinterpreting the alternative script? War in Ukraine, state-sponsored narratives of block building in authoritarian countries and their public perception’
