Rebecca Großmann joined the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in 2013 and is programme director at its division Europe. She is responsible for the foundation’s network in Central and Eastern Europe. As programme director, she also manages the newly established Henriette Herz Scouting Programme, the Georg Forster Research Award and third-party funded research awards. Rebecca Großmann studied Language Typology with Psychology and Business Administration at the University of Mainz and also obtained an International MA in Economy, State and Society: Nation, History, Society at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London as well as a MA degree in European Studies at Jagiellonian University in Krakow. She holds a PhD in Central and Eastern European Area Studies from the University of Cologne.
