Ludmila received her Ph.D. degree in 1998 in Ethnology and Anthropology from the Institute of Ethnology at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Since 2003 she has been an associate professor at the Department of History and International Relations at the Free International University of Moldova, where she has been teaching courses in cultural anthropology, political semiotics and ethno-confessional geography of the contemporary world. For our project, Ljudmila will study the discrepancies between the process of national identity re/construction from the perspective of collective memory and how this re/construction has been elaborated by political elites.
