The admission requirements for the Master's degree program in Eastern European Studies regulate access to the studies and the selection procedure for awarding the study places.
The places of study are awarded according to the regulations of the Berlin University Admissions Act. 20% of the seats are allocated after waiting time and 80% after the selection procedure’s of Freie Universität Berlin. Within the subquota of 80%, applicants (temporary) who have not yet received their first degree can be admitted. In this case, a current transcript of records must be submitted. In principle, at least two-thirds of the achievements to be completed in the Bachelor's degree course must be assessed and the topic of the Bachelor's thesis has been issued.
Selection of students admitted to the course of studies is completed within six weeks after the end of the application period. A selection is made on the basis of the submitted application documents.
