For admittance to the master’s program applicants need to fulfill the following admission requirements:

Please note that the proof of six years of schooling is English language teaching or proof of equivalent language examinations for the B2 degree required for your application. Recognized equivalent qualifications are: IELTS 5.0; Cambridge Examinations: First Certificate (FCE); Advanced (CAE), Proficiency (CPE). See the liste of accepted language proofs/equivalents here.
- Candidates who are not native speakers of German and who have completed their studies at a foreign university are required to prove their knowledge of German. This may be due to the existence of the German Language Examination for Higher Education (DSH) or by proof of an equivalent level of knowledge.
The DSH - or German Language University Entrance Exam for Foreign Students - is obligatory for all applicants whose first language is not German and who have earned their initial degree from a university (or equivalent institution) where the language of instruction is not German.
