Dr. Julia Zimmermann

Julia Zimmermann graduated from the University of Munich and Free University of Berlin. Aside she gained valuable experience as a student research assistant at the Ifo centre of education economics in Munich. In her current research she concentrates on economic history, the economics of religion and the economics of conflict. Her dissertation aims at providing insights into the role of religion and ethnicity in driving group conflict and how it affects development indicators such as redistribution. The work focusses on Germany and East European countries.
