Elena Goerttler-Reck holds a bachelor degree (Bachelor of Arts) from the University of Potsdam in the subject of “Multidisciplinary Russian Studies”. At the moment she is doing her Master at the Free University of Berlin in “East European Studies”. In the context of her bachelor studies she spent a semester abroad at the Baikal University in Irkutsk and did an internship at the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation in Moscow. Furthermore she worked as a student assistant at the Chair for East Slavic Literature and Culture at the University of Potsdam and served as an elected member of the student representative.
